1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Sewing IQ, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Sewing IQ is a client-management platform for seamstresses, tailors, and small sewing businesses ("studios") and their clients.
2. Accounts
Studio owners are responsible for the accuracy of their business information and for all activity under their account. Clients access the portal through an invitation from a studio or an invite code. You must keep your sign-in credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use.
3. Studio responsibilities
Studios are solely responsible for the client data they enter — including measurements, project details, payment records, and household members — and for having any consent needed to store it. Prices, invoices, deposits, and payment records in Sewing IQ are record-keeping tools; Sewing IQ is not a payment processor and is not a party to any transaction between a studio and its clients.
4. Client content
Clients may upload inspiration images, progress photos, measurements, and messages. You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Sewing IQ a limited license to store and display that content to you and the studio you're connected with, solely to operate the service. Do not upload content you don't have the right to share.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful content, no harassment, no attempts to access other users' data, no interference with the platform's operation, and no use of the service to send spam. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Some studio features may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal details are shown at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Sewing IQ reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If a change materially reduces the service, paying studios will be notified in advance.
8. Limitation of liability
Sewing IQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sewing IQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or disputes between studios and their clients — arising from use of the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
